What’s It All About?
About Me:
Hi! I’m Faith and I’m an internet shop-a-holic. It can take me days, if not weeks, to purchase something as simple as a throw pillow, because I have to look at every possible throw pillow available in every nook and cranny on the web. This endless surfing drives my husband to distraction, and he will often step in and make the decisions for me. Still, it has lead me to the myriad dusty corners of the web and every bargain basement along the way.
About My History:
Hey You! was my very first domain name — purchased in 1997 as a playground, personal website (in the pre-blogging world), and the home of my extensive “free graphics” site at a time when free graphics sites had a traffic draw equivalent (in relative terms) to that of a popular blog. “You” has been my user name online since 1991. Yes, there was an internet in 1991, and no, it wasn’t anything close to what it is today — though still with an equal sense of adventure.
After more than a decade of surfing the web, I decided it was time to channel all of this knowledge and share it with the world. With more than seven years of blogging under my belt, it should be pretty entertaining as well. So let’s open up my personal bookmark file together. Stay tuned and warm up that credit card. About the rating system:
The scoring key is located here in a nice pretty easy to read table — that I coded all by hand I might add, just to prove to myself I’m not nearly as rusty as I feel.
